Sibu State Library hosts July’s exhibition on marine life sculptures

SIBU (July 5): The Sarawak State Library here is currently hosting the Sarawakiana Exhibition: 3D Marine Life Sculptures in collaboration with SMK Bukit Assek throughout this month.

According to its press release, the exhibition’s official opening ceremony will be held this Saturday, July 6 at 9.30am at the library’s seminar room.

“The Sarawakiana Exhibition will run for a month from July 1 to 31, featuring 3D sculptures created using relief techniques and recycled materials.

“The displayed works were created by former SMK Bukit Assek students and also involved in the project were visual arts teachers Nik Sina Sura and Sia Pik Khoo,” it said.
