Slovakia eyes technology cooperation with Sarawak

KUCHING, Sept 23: Slovakia is exploring potential cooperation with Sarawak in technology, particularly in water and flood management, waste management, environmental technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Malaysia, Peter Spisiak, said his country was ready to offer its expertise and technological capabilities to Sarawak in these areas.

“There are several potential Slovak companies that can cooperate with Sarawak in these sectors.

“We may organise an online presentation of Slovak companies for the Sarawak business community, in collaboration with the Sarawak Business Federation as well as relevant ministries and departments of the Sarawak Government,” he said after a courtesy call on the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, at the Satria Pertiwi Complex today.

At the same time, he also expressed admiration for Malaysia’s cultural and social diversity, particularly in Sarawak.

He described the diversity as a major strength and advantage for Malaysia, contributing to the country’s economic development. – TVS
