KUCHING: The Sarawak United People’ Party (SUPP) Pending Branch has issued a reminder to all candidates of the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) to prioritise their personal health amid the spike in Covid-19 cases.

According to a press release issued on Wednesday (Jan 3), it is paramount for students to focus not only on academic preparation but also on maintaining their physical wellbeing.

Pending SUPP earnestly encourages all SPM candidates to adopt a holistic approach to exam readiness, placing emphasis on personal health.

“In these challenging times, maintaining adequate hydration is key to ensuring normal brain and body functions. Candidates are urged to incorporate a daily regimen of proper water intake and essential vitamins. This practice is vital in sustaining energy levels and concentration during the rigorous exam period.

“Candidates are advised to structure a scientifically reasonable study plan, avoiding excessive fatigue to ensure effective review. A well-paced revision strategy contributes not only to academic success but also to maintaining overall health,” it said.

Furthermore to safeguard the health of candidates, Pending SUPP is providing Covid-19 test kits specifically for SPM candidates in the Pending area.

“Through early detection, we can promptly identify and isolate potential infected individuals, minimising potential impact on other candidates. This measure aims to create a safe and healthy exam environment for candidates,” it said.

Recognising the immense pressure students face, they also call for an optimistic mindset. Believing in one’s capabilities and fostering a sense of solidarity, the party stands with candidates, anticipating outstanding results in the upcoming SPM examinations.

It’s a collective effort to overcome challenges and embrace a brighter future.
