KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 13: Election Commission (EC) will conduct a border review of electoral divisions in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.
SPR Chairman, Datuk Seri Ramlan Harun said the move follows a statement by Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on proposals to add parliamentary seats in Sabah and Sarawak after chairing the recent Malaysia Agreement Implementation Action Council Meeting (MTPMA63).

"In the context of electoral boundaries in all three study units, SPR will conduct a review of electoral boundaries for constitutional amendments to the Federal Constitution", it said.
Commenting further, Ramlan said SPR will provide further clarification when there is an official decision and developments allowing the matter to be made public. - TVS
