Three men who tested positive for asthma have been arrested

KUCHING, 15 Sept: Three men aged between 19 and 40 were arrested by National Drug Agency (AADK) Kuching District after testing positive for methamphetamine or a drug in Ops Prevent Bill. 67/2026, yesterday.

The Kuching District AADK in a statement said the operation was carried out at several locations including Bijurey Village, Krokong, Pearl Park, Bau, Benuk Village and around Kuching District.

According to the statement, early urine filters found all three men were methamphetamine positive.

"All Persons Detained (OKT) were subsequently detained under Section 3 ((1), of the Narcotics and Substance Abuse (Rehabilitation and Recovery) Act 1983 [Act 283] for further action and investigation", according to the statement.

AADK explained that the operation is part of the agency's ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse and identify individuals involved in illicit substance use activities.

Meanwhile, the Kuching District AADK urged the public to disseminate information about drug abuse activities to help curb the problem in the community.
