Trienekens announces early waste collection schedule for Hari Raya celebrations

KUCHING (March 12): In preparation for the coming Hari Raya celebrations, Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd has announced that waste collection services in selected areas of the city scheduled for Friday (March 20) will be carried out one day earlier on Thursday (March 19).

In a notice, Trienekens Sarawak said should the first day of Hari Raya fall on Saturday (March 21), selected areas with Saturday collection schedule will also be serviced one day earlier, on Friday (March 20).

“Residents in these areas are reminded to wheel out their bins the night before the collection day,” it added.

The company further explained that there will be no waste collection services in the affected areas on the first day of Hari Raya. Collection will resume according to the normal schedule thereafter, while the schedule in other areas remains unchanged.

Residents are also reminded to keep their neighbourhoods clean and refrain from disposing of waste indiscriminately. Any extra waste should be packed securely and placed next to their wheel bins for safe and proper disposal by the collection team.
