MIRI (March 27): Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi paid Hari Raya Aidilfitri visits to the homes of elected representatives here.
Among the residences visited were those of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni, State Deputy Minister of Women and Child Development and Bekenu assemblywoman Rosey Yunus, and State Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development and Lambir assemblyman Ripin Lamat.
The visits were also joined by State Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, State Transport Minister Lee Kim Shin, and Pujut assemblyman Adam Yii.
The distinguished guests were warmly received and welcomed with traditional dance performances.
In addition to a variety of festive dishes, guests were entertained with Hari Raya songs.
