KUCHING (Dec 4): The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar has received an invitation to officiate at the launch of the biography Abang Johari: Sarawak’s First Premier.
According to a statement from Astana Negeri Sarawak, the invitation was presented during a courtesy call at his official residence in Kasuma Resort, led by Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.
Uggah was accompanied by corporate figure Tan Sri Datuk Amar Leonard Linggi Tun Jugah and Limar Group of Companies director Wan Mohamad Wan Ibrahim.
The book launch, which Wan Junaidi and Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi have been invited to officiate, will take place this Friday at the Dayak Cultural Foundation building on Jalan Ong Tiang Swee.
Wan Junaidi expressed his appreciation for the invitation and conveyed hope that the event would proceed smoothly.
