Ulu Tiram attack: Two students detained not under ministry’s purview

KOTA KINABALU: The two higher learning institution students detained following the Ulu Tiram police station attack on Friday (May 17) are not under the jurisdiction of the Higher Education Ministry.

Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Mustapha Sakmud said on Saturday (May 18) that the two students, a man (21) and a woman (22), were not under the ministry's purview.
