Visit Para SUKMA carnival from Sept 21 to 28

KUCHING: The Para Malaysia Games (SUKMA) XXI Sarawak 2024 Carnival will take place at Dataran Perayaan, Sarawak Stadium here from Sept 21 to 28.

A variety of activities are planned to entertain visitors and rally support for the para athletes competing in the games.

Highlights include a children’s colouring contest, a busking performance by people with disabilities (OKU), a children’s traditional costume competition, and a senior citizens’ karaoke contest.

The event will also feature a live screening of the Para SUKMA Sarawak opening ceremony, followed by a beauty pageant, traditional performances, and a session on OKU management and awareness, organised by the Sarawak OKU Skills Development Association (SOSDA).

The carnival is open to the public, and families are encouraged to attend.

The public is also invited to come out in full support of the Para SUKMA XXI Sarawak 2024 Carnival and show their encouragement for the para athletes competing on the national stage.
