KUCHING (Feb 24): Yayasan Sarawak on Tuesday invited the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar to attend the ‘Majlis Berbuka Puasa Anak Sarawak’ in Kuala Lumpur on Feb 28.
The foundation’s director Datu Mohamad Junaidi Mohidin conveyed the invitation during a courtesy call on the Head of State at Kasuma Resort here.
The breaking of fast event is scheduled to take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) at 7pm.
The event is an annual programme organised by Yayasan Sarawak to bring together Sarawakians residing in the Peninsula.
During the visit, an invitation was also conveyed to Wan Junaidi’s wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi to attend the ‘Bubur Pedas Cooking Programme’ organised by the Government Officers’ Welfare and Sports Council (Maksak) Women Sarawak.
The programme will be held on Feb 28 at 11am at the Sarawak Liaison Office in Kuala Lumpur.
Also present were Maksak Women Sarawak chairwoman Dato Baduyah Bujang, Yayasan Sarawak deputy director (operations) Mohamad Adzlie Ibrahim and deputy director (education ) Watson Chunggat Leonard Doo.
