KUCHING, Apr 17: A sport utility vehicle (SUV) driver was found burnt to death following an accident at Jalan Miri Bypass today.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 9.31am, and firefighters from the Lopeng station were deployed.

It was noted that the incident involved a lorry and a sport utility vehicle (SUV) that both caught fire due to an accident.

The front of the lorry was destroyed, while the SUV was destroyed. It was also reported that the victim was trapped inside the SUV when it was still on fire.

As of the time of publishing, the identity of the victim and cause of the crash are yet to be known. — DayakDaily
