1 woman dead, 2 men injured in two-vehicle 3am crash in Miri

KUCHING, Mar 22: A 23-year-old woman was killed while two men were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at the Vista Perdana traffic lights in Miri today.

In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 3.05am, and firefighters from the Lopeng station were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that the accident involved a Perodua Bezza, in which the victim, Easther Natashha Mulin, was with an unidentified male victim, and a Mazda which another male victim was in.

The male victim in the Perodua Bezza was able to get out from the vehicle and has been transported to the hospital with the victim in the Mazda, while the female victim was still in the vehicle.

After the victim was extricated, personnel from the Health Ministry confirmed that she was dead and handed her over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
