Abang Johari, Anwar hold one-on-one talks ahead of MBKM in KL

KUCHING (Feb 10): Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg today held a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Prime Minister’s Office in Parliament, Kuala Lumpur.

The meeting was confirmed via the Premier’s official Facebook page, Sarawakku, although no further details were disclosed.

Following the discussion, Abang Johari attended the 148th Menteri Besar and Chief Ministers’ Meeting (MBKM), chaired by Anwar, which brought together heads of state governments from across the country.

The meeting discussed a range of national and state-level matters, including briefings on current issues, feedback from state governments, and other items requiring coordination and cooperation between the Federal and state administrations.
