According to a media release today, the app allows users to search and secure flights across AirBorneo’s network through a streamlined and secure booking process.

Passengers can also check in directly from their mobile devices, access digital boarding passes, and avoid airport congestion.

In addition, travellers can view and manage a complete record of past and upcoming trips, making itinerary tracking simple and convenient.

AirBorneo CEO Megat Ardian Wira stressed that the app is central to the airline’s digital strategy, ensuring AirBorneo stays at the cutting edge of technology while remaining the region’s most guest-focused airline for years ahead.

“This app is the first milestone in our long-term roadmap to redefine regional aviation. Our goal is to create a fully integrated network where guests can transit effortlessly from primary hubs to rural air services, ensuring that every corner of Borneo is accessible.

“As we expand our fleet and reachw, this platform will serve as the engine for a future where travel is personalised and predictive,” he said.

AirBorneo currently serves 21 destinations across Sarawak and Sabah, including Rural Air Services routes that connect remote communities where air travel remains essential.

With the new app, the airline hopes to make travel more convenient, efficient, and guest-centric, keeping Borneo connected like never before. — DayakDaily
