KUCHING (Oct 4): Angkatan Zaman Mansang (Azam) Sarawak is taking part as a vendor in the two-day Sarawak Career and Training (SCaT) Fair 2024, which will kick off at the Hikmah Exchange Event Centre here tomorrow.
Azam in a statement today said this is part of its continuous effort to empower communities and youth through digital and technological approaches, aligning with the Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 which emphasises technological advancement as a key driver of the state’s development.
Throughout the exhibition, Azam Sarawak will offer a variety of engaging activities including interactive digital exhibitions, youth development programme sharing sessions and registration for new members of Azam Young Souls (AYS).
These activities aim to provide Sarawakian youth with opportunities to explore and enhance their digital skills, thereby contributing to the future of the state.
“Azam fully supports the vision of PCDS 2030 in ensuring that Sarawak achieves high-income state status. Through our participation in the SCaT Fair, we hope to help Sarawak’s youth master the skills required in this digital era,” said Azam Sarawak Strategic Communication manager Hassnal Hakim.
He added Azam Sarawak’s participation in the SCaT Fair is not only to promote existing programmes and initiatives but also to take proactive steps in ensuring that Sarawak’s youth have access to the latest digital skills.
