KUCHING (March 13): A total of RM3.2 million in tithe was handed over by Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) to Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) during a ceremony witnessed by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg here.
The handover ceremony was held at the Kompleks Satria Pertiwi, where BPHB presented the contribution as part of its commitment to supporting welfare initiatives for Muslims in the state.
The tithe was handed over by BPHB president Dato Ruslan Abdul Ghani to TBS general manager Datu Abg Mohd Shibli Abg Mohd Nailie.
Also present were BPHB chairman who is also State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and Sarawak Islamic Council (MIS) president Datuk Misnu Taha.
