KUCHING, May 16: Celebrate International Museum Day this coming Monday (May 18) with free entrance to the Borneo Cultures Museum (BCM).
According to its Facebook, among the activities lined up for the day are a sape performance and two workshops:
- Art in Safe Hands (Handling & Packaging Object)
- Where Collection Begin (Object Registration)
In addition, there will also be sharing sessions on two topics:
- HMA: Discover Nature, Inspire Human Unity (10.30am – 11.30am)
- Museum Collection: Bond and Power (2.30pm – 3.30pm)
All activities are scheduled to take place at Arts & Crafts Level 2, and there will also be publications for sale at Level 1.
“Join us for a day filled with fun activities, including Sape performance, object handling workshops, and insightful sharing sessions. Bring your friends and family along,” it said on a Facebook post.
BCM’s operating hours on that day will be from 9am to 4.45pm. — DayakDaily
