DAP Bintulu chief: Potholes at Medan Jaya flyover to be fixed

BINTULU (Jan 5): Potholes at the Medan Jaya flyover have worsened after several days of continuous rainfall, raising growing concern among road users over safety conditions.

Democratic Action Party (DAP) Bintulu chairman Chiew Chan Yew said he received confirmation from the relevant authorities this morning that repairs will be carried out to fix the damaged sections.

“The works should be carried out promptly, especially during dry weather, to prevent further road damage and ensure the safety of motorists and passengers who use the route daily,” he said.

Road users are urged to remain cautious when travelling through the affected stretch until repairs are completed.
