KUCHING (Nov 4): The Democratic Action Party Socialist Youth (Dapsy) will hold its national congress in Klang, Selangor on Nov 17.

Its chief Dr Kelvin Yii, who is also Bandar Kuching MP, stated that the congress, held once in every three years, aims to bring together young party members across the country to discuss future challenges.

“The congress will be held at Grand Centro Ballroom 2, Klang, Selangor, with registration starting at 8.30am and the opening of the congress at 10am,” he announced in a statement today.

Dr Yii said the theme of the congress ‘Voice of Dapsy, Power of Change’, symbolises Dapsy as the youth wing of the Democratic Action Party (DAP).

He emphasised that Dapsy will continue to promote the progress of the country.

“This congress will discuss how Dapsy can continue to be the main driving force in the reform of the party and the country in the coming political environment.

“Dapsy is very committed to uniting young people across the country to fight for social justice and national progress,” he added.

The DAP lawmaker called on all Dapsy members to participate in this congress to demonstrate the strength and spirit of unity among Dapsy members.
