KUCHING (Feb 7): A 69-year-old man was found dead inside a locked car at Jalan Batu Kawa, Moyan-Malihah, this afternoon.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) dispatched a team from Petra Jaya fire station after receiving a distress call at 12.16pm.
“The man was found unconscious inside a locked car, with the engine still running.
“Using specialised tools, rescuers opened the car to rescue the victim; unfortunately paramedics confirmed that the man had died,” Bomba said in a statement.
The case has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
