MIRI (Oct 30): FHPPC Motorsports Sarawak emerged among the standout teams at the SuciMuci Time Attack which attracted teams from across Malaysia to the Dato Sagor Circuit in Kampung Gajah, Perak on Oct 27.
The team lifted trophies across several categories including Rear Wheel Drive (champion), MIVEC/VTEC (runner-up)Category and the open category (second and third).
FHPPC comprised Wong Jao Hua (from Miri), Tan Yaw Ming (Kuching), Stanley Wong (Sibu), coach-driver Ee Yoong Cherng (Kuala Lumpur) led by team manager Davis Loh (Miri) and advisor Daniel Lim (Kuala Lumpur).
They are now looking forward to the FHPPC Superlap Challenge set to take place at Permy Jaya Race Track in Miri on Nov 9 and 10. The upcoming event has already attracted some of Malaysia’s seasoned outfits such as Team GYX, Team Sidewayz Squad, Team Ohh See See and Team Kone Attack
The Superlap Challenge, which is supported by Sarawak Motorsports Association and sanctioned by Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM), seeks to foster community involvement in racing, encouraging passion for the sport and creating opportunities for drivers to compete at higher levels.
Organisers have also extended a special note of thanks to the Mayor of Miri for his support.
