HSL unveils RM2.8 mil Precinct Grande Clubhouse at La Promenade

SAMARAHAN, May 1: Hock Seng Lee (HSL) has launched its RM2.8 million Precinct Grande Clubhouse at La Promenade today.

The three-storey clubhouse, spanning 6,000 sq ft, features facilities for a gym, yoga, reading, and relaxation, and is open for viewing and use by residents of the Precinct Grande gated community.

In a press release, HSL said the development forms part of the third residential phase within the 200-acre La Promenade gated community.

The ground floor includes a multi-purpose room and a 24-metre saltwater (salt chlorine-generated) pool, as well as wheelchair-friendly parking bays.

HSL managing director Paul Yu Chee Hoe said the clubhouse is exclusively for the 90 homeowners in the gated community.

He noted that the clubhouse had been planned since 2017, with a brief to the architect to design without limitations.

“We asked them to design what they wanted and build it as close as possible to their vision.

“The result is a striking off-form concrete structure, with a high, cathedral-like atrium above the gym, views of the landscaping, and flexible, functional spaces that can be naturally ventilated or air-conditioned,” he said.

Yu added that HSL’s engineering team worked closely to realise the original concept with minimal compromise.

“This is evident in the expansive column-free spaces, double-height glazing, and steel staircases. Careful mechanical and electrical planning allowed services to be discreetly integrated within the walls, contributing to a clean aesthetic.

“Everything we have done at the clubhouse reflects La Promenade’s ethos of going the extra mile,” he said.

Meanwhile, Lau Ming Ngi, director of MSNC Architect, said the design was intended to be shared by Precinct Grande residents and their community.

He highlighted that the clubhouse features an open, accessible concept that integrates closely with the surrounding community.

“The upper section includes a shaped stage, while the ground floor features a multi-purpose courtyard. On the first floor, the gymnasium is designed to optimise space utilisation.

“The clubhouse’s strategic placement allows easy access from both upper levels and the ground floor, encouraging use among residents.

“Its modern and contemporary design reflects a forward-thinking architectural approach that benefits people of all ages,” he said.
