SIMUNJAN, 23 Sept: Efforts to strengthen crime prevention and community security at the district level continue to be focused through the working visit of Sarawak Container Crime Prevention and Community Security Department (JPJKK) Chief SAC Roselina Daud to the Regional Police Headquarters (IPD) Simunjan today.
His arrival with the delegation was welcomed by Simunjan Regional Police Chief, DSP Rafhan Kepli along with department heads, senior officers and police chief.
The working visit was also filled with briefings and mandates to the citizens of IPD Simunjan, in addition to the submission of the Children's and Adolescent Crime Awareness Module (MESRA) Book.
The module was one of the reference materials in an effort to raise awareness about crime among children and adolescents.
In addition, the visit served as a platform for strengthening working relationship between the JCPK of Sarawak and IPD Simunjan, especially in the implementation of tasks related to crime prevention and community security.
Roselina also provided guidance on the implementation of duties to citizens of IPD Simunjan to ensure that crime prevention and community security efforts are carried out continuously.
"Cooperation between the JCPJK of Sarawak and IPD Simunjan will continue to be implemented to ensure crime prevention efforts as well as community safety in the district remain a priority", he said. - TVS
