“This does not include their accompanying companions,” he said in a Facebook post today after visiting the company.

Tiong highlighted that MOTAC will soon launch more active promotional activities.

“I have requested Loyalty Marketing to forward their plans for these promotions. Once these plans are reviewed and confirmed, they will be brought into discussions to obtain the necessary budget funding for the implementation,”he said.

During the visit to Loyalty Marketing, Tiong and his entourage were received by its President Tsuyoshi Hasegawa.

The Ponta shopping points card has about 120 million members, and it is accepted at over 2 million stores across Japan, including the LAWSON convenience store chain.

It can also be used to earn points in the United States, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Indonesia. — DayakDaily
