KUCHING: Volunteers from the Katimas Group spent their Sunday morning selling food and beverages at the Lions Nursing Home Charity Food Fair at the Home on Dec 3.
All proceeds generated from sales were directed towards supporting the Home.
“Through our sales, Katimas has contributed a total of RM8,908 to the Lions Nursing Home,” said Katimas Group Chairman Dato Franco Lee.
The Food Fair was the second charitable event Katimas Group has actively participated in this year.
In September, the company organised a blood donation drive at eMart Tabuan Jaya Branch, resulting in the collection of 50 bags of blood.
“As we look back on our impactful initiatives, we eagerly anticipate future opportunities and maintain our steadfast commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those in need,” Lydia Lee who heads its CSR committee.
The Lion Nursing Home Charity Food Fair featured over 84 stalls selling food and beverages, the proceeds of which will be spent on maintenance, repair and improvement to the Home’s facilities, as well as to contribute to staff salaries.
