Lucky draw winners announced at Mitraf 28 closing night

MIRI (Nov 4): Kong Muk Yung emerged as the grand prize winner of the Miri Trade Fair (Mitraf) 28 lucky draw.

He walked away with a brand new 10th generation Apple iPad, sponsored by Miri MP Chiew Choon Man.

Chieng Ching Thai, one of the lucky shoppers at the fair, won the first prize – a cash voucher by MTW Furniture worth RM888.

Chew Jin Fah and Chan Lau Hup took home the respective second and third prizes, cash vouchers by the furniture store valued at RM488 and RM388, respectively.

The respective fourth and fifth prizes went to Kho Mei Mei and Goh Yew Kok, who received a luxury bench and a 48-litre electric oven, respectively.

The respective sixth and seventh prize winners, Freddie Lee and Hwang Bee Yien, received a Samsung no-bag vacuum cleaner and an Electrolux air-fryer, respectively.

The eighth prize winner, Thai Djian Nie, took home a drawer cabinet.

The respective ninth and 10th prize winners, Grace Low and Liong Suet Ying, received a shoe cabinet and a food blender, respectively.

The 11th to the 37th prize winners received various items such as small home appliances, furniture, glass containers and meal vouchers.

Meanwhile, lucky shoppers Patricia Anyat and Chieng Ching Thai each won the ‘Special Prize’ – an air-purifying unit sponsored by Daikin Malaysia.

Chaw Zhe Jian, special assistant to the Miri MP, presented the prizes at the closing ceremony of Mitraf 28 at Permaisuri Imperial City Mall here, on Sunday night.

At the event, Chaw also presented gifts, on behalf of Chiew, to stateless children from the Methodist Tudan Learning Centre.

Present at the prize-giving ceremony were See Hua Marketing Miri branch manager Nicky Chua, marketing manager Jarvis Lau, assistant marketing manager Wee Chee Howe, Mitraf 28 organising chairman Melvin Ng, Daikin Malaysia sales executive Lam Kouk Hwa, and Shoe Mo proprietor Yong Moi Khiong.
