Luxury Ops: Two luxury vehicles seized in Kuching

KUCHING, 24 Sept: Two luxury vehicles were seized by the Sarawak Road Transport Department (JPJ) after being found guilty of offences involving Motor Vehicle License (LKM) and expired insurance coverage in Ops Luxury in this city on Wednesday.

The operation carried out by the JPJ Kuching Operations Unit was conducted through patrol and monitoring to detect violations related to rules and regulations.

According to a statement by JPJ Sarawak, the seizure of both vehicles was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law in force.

"The seizure of both vehicles was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law in force.

"JPJ Sarawak advises all vehicle owners and users to ensure that LKM and insurance coverage are always valid before vehicles are used on the road", the statement said.

Compliance with the rules is essential to ensure that vehicles have adequate protection, as well as ensuring the safety of all road users.
