KUCHING, Apr 6: Sarawak’s music and arts scene will take centre stage at Lakar Festival 2026 on June 27 from 3pm to 10pm at Tropic City, Tabuan Dayak, featuring a line-up of local and national artists, including Masterpiece and Melissa Francis.

Joining them on stage are Mawat, Ramles Walter, Baby Dream Machine, and Yaya Shimara, showcasing the diversity of Sarawak’s creative landscape.

The festival is organised by Persatuan Lakar Seni with support from the Ministry of Communications Malaysia and MyCreative Ventures, providing a platform for both established and emerging talents to connect with audiences.

In addition to music, attendees can explore visual arts exhibitions, interactive workshops, and creative vendor booths, offering an immersive experience of the state’s independent arts scene.

Tickets for Lakar Festival 2026 will be available in April 2026, with details and announcements to be shared through the festival’s official social media channels.
