MetMalaysia: Bad weather expected in parts of Sarawak, Sabah, Kedah until 1pm

KUCHING (Aug 19): Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected to hit some places in Sarawak, Sabah and Kedah until 1pm today, said the Meteorological Department of Malaysia (MetMalaysia).

In an alert issued at 10am, the department said similar weather conditions are to occur in Meradong (Sarikei), Mukah and Tatau (Bintulu).

MetMalaysia added that the bad weather is also expected over Tawau and Semporna (Sabah) as well as Langkawi (Kedah).
