MetMalaysia issues thunderstorm, heavy rain warning for Sarawak, three other states

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 7): The Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in four states until 11am today.

MetMalaysia, in a statement this morning, announced that the severe weather warning involves Sik and Baling in Kedah as well as Hulu Perak in Perak.

The warning also involves several areas in Kelantan, including Jeli, Kuala Krai and Gua Musang, as well as in Sarawak, specifically Kuching, Samarahan (Samarahan and Asajaya) and Mukah.
