Miki goes into finals with 23-21 win

BINTULU: Muaythai exponent Muhammad Mikail Ghazali Zulfikar goes into the semi-finals after a 23-21 win over Terengganu’s Adam Fakruzie Ismail.

The crowd erupted in a thunderous roar, their energy and excitement so palpable and electrifying.

The atmosphere felt like an electric charge coursing through the air, causing every hair on your body to stand up in response to the sheer intensity of the atmosphere.

Miki as Mikail is famously known took a huge lead of 11-3 in the first round, before Adam closed the gap scoring additional 9 points to Miki’s 6.

In the third round, Adam fought back ferociously to an added nine points in the final round to Miki’s six points.

It was all too close yet too far for Adam from Terengganu as the crowd celebrated and cheered loudly for Miki as Sarawak wins 23-21.

Miki qualifies into the final in the male 51 to 54kg category.
