MIRI (Dec 28): The Youth Section of Miri Hakka Association brought Christmas cheer to its committee members at the Christmas Gathering 2025 here.
The youth chief Andy Jong said the event meant to bring all committee members together in a ‘chill mood’, while caring and supporting one another.
“Christmas is a celebration of sharing love and compassion.
“With everyone enjoying light refreshments and exchanging greetings, we hope through this we can strengthen the bonds of friendship with each other.
“We were busy all year-round, so this is the time for us to slow down, reflect back, and at the same time, show positive spirit to each other,” he said in a statement.
Jong said the youth section had organised and run many events throughout the year; thus, he wanted to express his appreciation to all committee members for their participation and commitment in ensuring that all activities would be carried out smoothly.
“I hope that the new office in the coming year will continue to uphold the spirit of unity and mutual support in planning more meaningful programmes,” he added.
