Motorcyclist perishes in pre-dawn collision with car on Jln Pan Borneo Lundu-Bau

KUCHING (Nov 30): An early-morning collision with a car along Jalan Pan Borneo Lundu-Bau claimed the life of a 25-year-old motorcyclist.

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the victim, identified as Estee Tapha Telen, was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

“Following a call at 5.10am, a team was rushed to the scene where upon arrival, rescuers discovered the victim trapped beneath the car.

“An air lifting bag was deployed to raise the vehicle and remove the victim,” it said in a statement.

The body was later handed over to police for further action.
