“This water treatment plant is a major development for my constituency and will directly address the long-standing clean water needs of our communities,” he said during the district-level Sarawak Basic Needs Assistance (SKAS) 2026 launch in Meluan today.

In addition to the plant, he highlighted the allocation of RM4.26 million for SKAS 2026 which will benefit around 3,000 residents, including families in need and unmarried individuals.

“With this allocation covering 3,000 people, the expenditure is indeed significant. I thank the State government and our Premier for making this possible,” he said.

Rolland added that these initiatives demonstrate the State government’s commitment to improving both welfare and infrastructure in Meluan, and urged residents to continue supporting the government’s efforts. — DayakDaily
