MIRI (Sept 5): DSP Nor Aizan Mohd Jamil has taken over as Miri deputy police chief.
He received his duties from predecessor Supt Mohd Sabri Zainol during a handing over ceremony yesterday witnessed by Miri police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu.
Mohd Sabri has been promoted to Semporna police chief in Sabah.
“Mohd Sabri has held the position of Miri District deputy chief of police for approximately six years since Aug 16, 2018,” the Miri District police said in a Facebook post.
Alexson also witnessed the handing over of duties from district Public Order officer Insp Muhd Harith Ronny Jenigo Enggoh to ASP Khairul Ridzuan Ahmad.
Khairul Ridzuan previously served as inspector of Public Order in Limbang District.
