KUCHING, Apr 20: Applications are now open for the Yayasan Sarawak Tun Taib Scholarship (BYSTT) and Sarawak Tunku Abdul Rahman Scholarship (YBSTAR), with the closing date set at 4pm on May 29, 2026.

In a notice issued by Yayasan Sarawak, priority will be given for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and selected courses only, which include:

Engineering (priority to Aerospace Engineering and Semiconductor Technology)
Information Technology
Medical & Health
Life Science
Food Technology
Psychology & Counselling
Construction & Land Development
Accounting
Finance
Law

It added that applicants are advised to read the details of the scholarship offers for the 2026/2027 session before applying to ensure that all stipulated requirements and criteria are met.

It also added that all applications must be submitted online.
