MIRI (Oct 3): A man was arrested after he was caught transporting 50 crates of duty-unpaid beer in the city here Wednesday.

Miri police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said a Marine Police Force team carrying out an Op Kontraban operation intercepted the suspect at a commercial area around 11am.

“The 50 crates of beer, believed to be duty-unpaid, were found in the cargo bed covered by a tarp.
