MIRI (Oct 30): The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Senadin branch gathered over 100 members for the Family Day celebration held at Kuala Baram Crocodile Farm here on Sunday.

Among those in attendance were members of the branch committee, youth wing and women’s section, as well as their family members.

Branch chairman Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin in his remarks highlighted the importance of the family day celebration as an opportunity to strengthen party and family bonds.

“The event aimed to build stronger connections within the branch and cultivate a spirit of unity and support among the members.

“A political party is similar to that of one large family, and each branch represents a unique household led by its own team,” said Lee, who is Transport Minister and Senadin assemblyman.

The event featured group activities and games meant to encourage teamwork and foster mutual support, which the party hopes will help strengthen camaraderie between the members of the different wings within the branch.

Lee also expressed hope for the continued collaboration and unity within the branch, aiming to shape it into a thriving and influential part of SUPP.
