Race packs collection for PMG Health Run tomorrow

MIRI (Jan 16): With the highly anticipated PMG Health Run 2026 just around the corner, participants are reminded to collect their race packs tomorrow (Jan 17) at PMG Pharmacy, Boulevard Commercial Centre here from 10am to 6pm.

PMG Healthcare assistant marketing manager Tiong Wei Chi said each registered runner will receive a race pack comprising an event jersey, race bib, and a goodie bag containing discount vouchers from PMG and other sponsors, hot and cold patches, as well as a tube of pain relief cream to support runners before and after the race.

In conjunction with the race pack collection, PMG Pharmacy will also offer free health checks for the public, including a bone density test, health risk assessment and a microcapillary test, providing an opportunity for the community to assess their health ahead of the new year.

Additionally, PMG Pharmacy members who make purchases at the outlet will stand a chance to win prizes worth up to RM200,000 through its ‘Scratch & Win’ campaign.

On the same day, the outlet will also run a PMG Healthy Lifestyle Sale, offering discounted prices on supplements, vitamins and other health products.

The PMG Health Run 2026 will take place on Jan 18 at Marina ParkCity, with the flag-off scheduled for 6.30am.

PMG Healthcare managing director Dr Chieng King Chong will deliver a brief address before officiating the start of the race.

Participants are advised to arrive at the venue before 6am for warm-up activities. The race is expected to conclude by 10am.

The event will feature 5km and 10km competitive categories, with cash prizes up for grabs for top finishers in the 10km race.

A total of 10 sponsor booths will be set up at the venue, including a lucky draw booth where runners stand a chance to win prizes such as a stationary exercise bike.

Held in collaboration with See Hua Group―the publisher of See Hua Daily News, The Borneo Post, and Utusan Borneo―as the official media partner, the PMG Health Run 2026 aims to promote health, fitness and community engagement.
