KUCHING, Mar 30: There will be a temporary road diversion on Jalan Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Muhammad Salahuddin in Kuching beginning April 2 to Aug 16, 2026.

In a notice, the Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) said this was to make way for construction works, with the contract period beginning on July 15, 2024, and scheduled for completion by Nov 21, 2026.

“Road users are advised to be cautious while driving on that road during the construction period and to follow all traffic management instructions for the safety of all road users until the construction work is completed.

“The contractor will notify from time to time if there are any changes to the date, time, or areas involved in the works.

“Road users are also advised to plan their journey if passing through the affected areas. We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” it said.
