KUCHING (Jan 3): Deputy Minister of Utilities (Sarawak Energy and Petroleum Sarawak Berhad) Datuk Ibrahim Baki recently visited flood victims at the temporary evacuation centre at Masjid Darul Istiqlaal in Kampung Sungai Maong recently.
During his visit, the Satok assemblyman met affected families, offered comfort, and handed out contributions to representatives of the 26 households impacted by the floods.
The centre, which opened on Friday, provided shelter to 128 victims, including 70 adults, 41 children, 16 senior citizens, and one infant, according to a statement from Ibrahim’s office.
