The visit, led by PBSMM Sarawak Chairman Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr George Chan Hong Nam, also served to officially invite Wan Junaidi to the upcoming Volunteer Recognition Dinner in Miri.

“He has shown a keen interest in becoming our Patron, and we informed him about our past TYT Challenge Trophy for the blood donation campaign, to which he graciously agreed to host the trophy in Sarawak.

“We also extended an invitation to him to be the guest-of-honour at this year’s Volunteer Recognition Dinner, which will be held in Miri and organised by the Miri branch,” Liew was quoted as saying.

Liew shared these details with reporters following the courtesy visit.

In addition to the PBSMM visit, Wan Junaidi also received a courtesy visit from a delegation from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, led by the Director-General of Customs Malaysia, Dato Anis Rizana Mohd Zainudin.

The nearly two-hour meeting focused on various topics, particularly legal matters.
