KUCHING, March 31: Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi today paid an Aidilfitri visit to the residence of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, in a gathering that underscored unity and camaraderie among the State’s leadership.

Wan Junaidi and Fauziah, accompanied by their daughters Sharifah Fariah and Sharifah Nong-Jasima, were warmly received by the minister and his wife Datin Sri Zuraini Abdul Jaabar at their home in Jalan Astana, Petra Jaya.

Also present was Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, who served as minister-in-attendance, together with his wife, Datin Sri Siti Shorgayah Ahmad Zaidin.

The visit unfolded in a relaxed and cordial atmosphere, reflecting the strong bonds shared among Sarawak’s leadership.

It also highlighted the spirit of Aidilfitri as a time for fostering goodwill, mutual respect and closer ties within the State administration.

During the visit, the dignitaries mingled and exchanged views on current matters while enjoying a spread of traditional Hari Raya delicacies prepared by the host.

Wan Junaidi and Fauziah also conveyed their appreciation to Abdul Karim and his family for the invitation, voicing hope that such gatherings would continue to strengthen unity and reinforce the close relationship between Sarawak’s leaders and the people. — DayakDaily
