MIRI (Aug 19): Sarawak Women’s rugby team has made a strong start to the Malaysia Games (Sukma 2024) competition, defeating defending champions Kedah 34-0 at Miri Stadium this morning.
Despite facing several penalties, Sarawak dominated the first half, leading 29-0 at the break.
The team continued their impressive performance in the second half to secure a convincing victory.
Meanwhile, Sarawak Men’s rugby team faced a tougher challenge against Terengganu, eventually losing 5-7.
Despite their efforts, the team was unable to overcome their opponents.
