“This is amazing news for me and it will motivate me to do better next time. I have learnt so much and I know I have so much room to improve in terms of my vocal and performance on stage.

“What a wonderful day of my life as the youngest Malaysia team’s vocal contestant aged 10 years old Kuching girl who loves singing and eating wanton,” she said in her Facebook post.

She also took the opportunity to thank her families, coach and best friend for their love and support during her preparation for the competition.

“I would like to also thank you all too for being here with me and reminding me to keep going and not giving up.

“I love you all and thank you for being the pillar of my strengths and support. Without you all, I would not have gone this far.

“Today’s gold medal is for all of you. I love you all and thank you for your prayer,” she said.

Earlier, Taylor sang five songs in five different genres namely Pop, World, Broadway, R&B and Soul.

Meanwhile, over the years, Taylor has won numerous singing competitions including Kids Got Talent under the title Next Most Potential Vocal Artist.
