Sheda’s home, property roadshow back in Bintulu this weekend

BINTULU (Aug 19): The eagerly-awaited Sheda Home and Property Roadshow is back, to be staged on Level 1 and 2 of Times Square Megamall here, from this Aug 23 to 25.

Hosted by the Bintulu branch of Sarawak Housing Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda) with the organising committee led by Leonard Tang, the event sets out to be an exciting and informative experience for all attendees.

Open from 10am to 10pm daily, this year’s roadshow features over 30 exhibitors, showcasing the best housing projects across Sarawak, with a special focus on Bintulu.

“It is an ideal event for first-time homeowners looking to explore their options,” said Tang at a press conference here yesterday.

The key highlight of Sheda Home and Property Roadshow 2024 would be the Housing Deposit and Repayment Scheme (HDRAS), offering financial assistance of up to RM10,000 for first-time homeowners.

“The Ministry of Public Health, Housing and Local Government Sarawak has approved the HDRAS RM10,000 grant to be paid directly to the qualified purchasers, making home ownership more accessible than before.

“Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to explore the best housing options and take advantage of the HDRAS grant,” said Tang.

There would also be a ‘Kid’s Talent Show’ hosted by the Malaysian Red Crescent, series of talks by Forest Chin on ‘Shorten the Mortgage Loan Tenure’ and ‘Mortgage Interest Up To 75 Percent’, a session by Prof Dr Chong on ‘Advances in Regenerative Medicine for Heart Failure and Cancer Treatment’, a ‘Kid’s Got Talent’ competition, a ‘Best Dog Showcase’, as well as a colouring competition.

The event’s closing ceremony would feature a performance by SMK Bintulu Marching Band.
