SKS Opening bargain 170 services 50 agencies

MUKAH, 1 Oct: Sarawakku Sayang (SKS) Program Open Division will provide 170 services from 50 agencies to the community through a three-day event starting tomorrow.

Resident of the Open Section, Bujang Rahman Seli said that various services and fillings are provided to ensure SKS aspirations can be enjoyed by the community as well as directly benefiting visitors.

According to him, preparations are now entering the final stage with 25 working committees being mobilized to ensure that all activities and program filling is completed before it takes place.

"A total of 25 working committees have been activated and we are making final preparations to ensure that all activities and work can be completed before tomorrow.

"Our goal is not only to make this program a success, but more importantly is that SKS culture and aspirations can be enjoyed by the community", he said when meeting TVS after an exclusive interview with TVS here today.

He said two new services were also introduced through Bank Negara Malaysia's involvement in financial counselling and Unclaimed Money affairs, while Sarawak Islamic Religious Affairs Department (JAIS) provided marriage card printing service.

"In addition, we also got the participation of seven companies such as Press Metal and Sarawak Oil Palms (SOP) which will offer job matches and open interviews to the community, especially youth.

"In addition to these services, we also have Mukah Kitchen which provides 50 stalls that are not available elsewhere like silk, umai, roasted fish, etc"., he added.

He said that the Melanau cultural filling is also among the attractions that can give unique experiences to visitors.

According to him, the Sarawak Pavilion hosts a development and service exhibition with 170 services from 50 agencies available to visitors.

The Open Section SKS was held in Pehin Setia Raja Square from October 2 to 4 with various fillings including government services, employment opportunities and activities highlighting local food and culture.
