KUCHING (Dec 30): The Democratic Action Party (DAP) Stampin Parliamentary Service Centre has handed over RM45,180 to SMK Datuk Patinggi Haji Abdul (DPHA) Gapor to fund the purchase of projectors and cover installation costs for 20 units of smart interactive whiteboards.
This purchase complements 20 units of smart interactive whiteboard sensors and visualisers fully sponsored by a local supplier, said Michael Kong.
The Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen’s special assistant said the devices will be installed in 15 classrooms for students with special needs, as well as five school laboratories.
“This collaboration between our DAP Stampin and the private sector marks a significant milestone for SMK DPHA Gapor,” he said in a statement.
According to Kong, this school is the first secondary school in the Stampin parliamentary constituency to transition towards digital classrooms, having earlier introduced two smart interactive TVs for their Form 6 students.
With the additional 20 units, the school is now well on its way towards full digitalisation of its teaching environment.
He commended the school’s leadership and dedication in embracing digital learning tools, which will enhance teaching efficiency and student engagement.
“As education continues to evolve, we will continue to support and empower our schools in their journey toward modern classrooms,” he added.
