Siti Nur Alyssa is being escorted by her coach after she pulled out of the Women’s Individual Kumite -61kg round of 16 match against Sabah today.
MIRI (Aug 18): Sarawak’s karateka Siti Nur Alyssa Tam was forced to withdraw from the Women’s Individual Kumite -61kg after sustaining an injury during the round 16 match against Sabah’s Anabell Mazlan.
Sarawak’s Karate team is competing in eight events today namely Men and Women Team Kata, Men Individual Kumite -75kg, Women Individual Kumite -61kg, Men Individual Kumite -84kg, Women Individual Kumite -68kg, Men Individual Kumite +84kg and Women Individual Kumite +68kg.
The Karate events are being held at Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara (IKBN Miri).
